EuroCycler – Serious cycling and exciting travel experiences
The EuroCycler Experience
EuroCycler: Serious Cycling, Triple the Fun – Join the Adventure!
Remember our slogan from back in 2003? Serious Training, Serious Fun! Hundreds of passionate cyclists joined us on thrilling tours across Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, the USA, and even Hawaii. You may have even seen us on TV—Discovery Channel in the US, TeleGlobo in Brazil, or ETB Basque in Spain. Those who joined returned with unforgettable memories, countless photos, and exclusive EuroCycler gear – cycling jerseys, bibs, and hats.
After a fantastic run, we took a break in 2010, but over the years, many of our guests have reached out, eager for a comeback. Though a little older now, we’re all still fit, ready to take on new adventures, maybe just a bit slower – but with way more fun! So, we’re thrilled to announce the revival of EuroCycler with a fresh new slogan: Serious Cycling, Exciting Travel Experiences. We’re keeping the spirit of adventure alive, with a perfect mix of cycling, travel, and pure enjoyment. Are you ready to be part of it? Browse through the photos and get a taste of the exciting cycling journey that awaits. Let’s make new memories together – one pedal at a time! Sign up today!
How Does EuroCycler 2025 Come Together? Here’s the Inside Scoop:
Just like we did years ago, we’re kicking things off by waiting for the official Tour de France route to be announced. Once the stages and streets are set, our leadership team dives into meticulous planning—booking hotels, arranging logistics, scouting the terrain, and mapping out access routes to the race course.
A week of cycling with EuroCycler means 2–3 days on the actual Tour de France course, just a few hours ahead of the peloton, with hundreds or even thousands of spectators cheering you on! Whether we’re tackling the French Alps or the Pyrenees, you’ll face legendary climbs like Col de la Madeleine, Le Tourmalet, and Alpe d’Huez. Of course, we’ll warm up on some flat terrain, but once the climbs start, it’s serious business: two hours of uphill pedaling through breathtaking landscapes. Don’t worry, though— we’ve balanced the intensity with “regular” cycling days to explore the serene French countryside at a more relaxed pace. Evenings will be spent enjoying delicious dinners at local restaurants and hotels, a perfect reward after a day in the saddle.
The NEW TRIP: EuroCycler 2025 in France
Here’s a key change for 2025
Instead of 50 guests and multiple ride groups like before, we’re limiting the experience to an intimate group of just 10 cyclists. This smaller group size means more personal connections and quality time with fellow riders. Whether you’re a seasoned EuroCycler or joining us for the first time, we welcome every passionate cyclist who’s ready for the challenge.
But be prepared! You’ll need to conquer 2-hour non-stop climbs and master technical descents. We recommend training well in advance to make sure you’re fit and ready for these tough but rewarding rides. If you’re unsure about your fitness level, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re happy to help you understand what to expect and how to get race-ready.
Ready to join us on this unforgettable cycling adventure? Let’s make EuroCycler 2025 a ride to remember!
The 2025 Race Course – Get Ready for an Unforgettable Ride!
Mark your calendars! The Tour de France 2025 route will be revealed on October 28, 2024, but here’s what we know so far: the race kicks off in the north of France on Saturday, July 5, and finishes in Paris on Sunday, July 27. During those 21 days, anything can happen! For EuroCycler, we’re planning one incredible week of cycling in the Alps, followed by another thrilling week in the Pyrenees or the other way around – we don’t know yet. You can choose to join us for either adventure—or, for the truly dedicated, tackle both back-toback!
While it’s still early to finalize every detail, based on our experience, we’ve already pre-selected two possible dates for you to plan around:
July 9 – July 16, 2025
July 17 – July 25, 2025
We’ll be happy to recommend additional cycling routes or travel options if you want to explore more of France or Europe during your stay. And if you’re feeling ambitious, why not make it two weeks of back-to-back riding? Some of our past guests couldn’t resist!
Interested? Add your name to our sign-up list or take the next step by reserving your spot with a refundable deposit. We anticipate the cost to be between €4,500 – €6,000 per person for one week of cycling, starting in Geneva, Grenoble, or Toulouse (depending on the week and the race course). Please note that airfare isn’t included, and you’ll need to bring your own bike. A one week EuroCycler trip includes all hotels (depending on location, 3-4 *), all food (nice evening group dinners), on the road support, cycling guides with mechanic skills, and an original EuroCycler jersey. We will be 4 – 7 hours on the saddle every day and of course adapt the challenge to the level of the group. On two or three days we will be watching the race and ride portions of the actual race course, just hours ahead of the peloton, in front of waiting spectators.
Let’s make 2025 a year of unforgettable cycling memories. Ready to ride? Sign up now!
The New Old Team
Meet Your Guides: Richard and Dan – Passionate Cyclists, Adventurous Spirits!
Introducing Richard and Dan, two cycling enthusiasts, from Switzerland and England, who have shared countless miles together, both as riders and guides. They’ve organized, managed, and led numerous Spring Cycling Training Camps in Spain, and have guided groups through multiple editions of the Tour de France. Dan even expanded the EuroCycler adventure, guiding cyclists through Italy, the Tour of Georgia, and the Tour of California, while Richard coached and raced Ironman in Brazil, USA and Hawaii.
When they’re not cycling, these two are busy professionals, but they’ve always been dedicated “weekend warriors,” competing in dozens of cycling races and triathlons over the years. Their winters are equally action-packed: Dan hits the slopes as a snowboard instructor, while Richard teaches Alpine and Nordic skiing. Oh, and Dan sneaks in some wave surfing whenever he can! With Richard and Dan leading the way, you’re in for an exciting, expertly guided cycling adventure. Come meet them on the road, and let’s create unforgettable memories together!
